Family Dinner “Dinner has arrived!” Lydia announced her voice shaking, placing the beautiful turkey at the centre of the table surrounded by everything else. The silence could be cut with the very carving knife her husband, Thomas, held. She took her seat to his right and smiled nervously at everyone around the table, as he began carving. Her in-laws,Clara and Robert scowled at her. Her sister, Zara, sat on the edge of her chair, trying to keep her temper in check, waiting for even the slightest comment to unleash her rage....

Forgive Me “What are you doing here?” She sneered as she flung open the door. Good question. Honestly, I wasn’t really sure what to say. She was removing her oversized white hat ...

All I could do was shake my head and decide if I should laugh or cry. It had been a long crazy day and this just seemed to top it all off. You wouldn’t think laundry would be this exciting, but it was. It was an ordinary day, my laundry day. I usually enjoy a nice quiet house cleaning day. However today was slightly different. My teenage daughter was home from school and in an odd mood to help. Now in her defence I usually handle the family laundry and all the house cleaning duties, they can do it, but I just like my way better. Some woul...
