President Alex Crohn sank into the plush cushions of his limousine. The Pennsylvania countryside rushed past the window. Grey from an early winter, a river choked with grime down the middle, the ravaged landscape reeled under the onslaught of climate change. On the road to Philadelphia, the presidential motorcade made its way into a city with a shrunken population. Many had heard the call to war.
