When the classroom quiets down and the papers are graded, I slip into my other world as an aspiring fantasy writer. Whether it’s crafting magical worlds power by steam or creating intriguing characters, writing gives me a chance to escape and explore new ideas. Balancing both teaching and writing isn’t always easy, but it’s a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything.
