I wake on the morning of my sixteenth birthday in a dormitory of empty beds. Sunlight fills the room for I have chosen to leave the blinds up and, as I am the last occupant, there are none to challenge my decision to wake at dawn. iTevenson Hopkins took the head off his pint while he waited for the barman to return with his change. He was careful to count it before dropping into his pocket, satisfied he nodded his thanks and carried the drink back to his seat in the corner.
