Tears sting my eyes as I stare vacantly at the red streetlight above my head. The sky is already a dark shade of gray as the night approaches. The light turns green and a wave of people pushes me forward. Lisa’s eyes reluctantly shifted from the spreadsheet on her screen to a group of her colleagues having a loud debate next to the coffee machine.
