Evelyn slowed to a stop at the light, obsessively glancing in her rearview mirror. When the light turned green she wasted no time slamming on the gas and sharply turning the next corner, then quickly making the next right. When the black SUV behind her did the same she knew it was true. “AH HA! I knew it!” she exclaimed. “They’re following me.” Evelyn made the next turn up her street and sped to a halting stop in her driveway.
