      People always say it’s the small things in life that make the biggest difference. Often, it's said with a wistful sentiment, the kind that’s supposed to make you feel all fluttery and happy inside. It’s a saying built on hope, the hope that something seemingly insignificant might come along and make your day, or even your whole life, so much better.
