Author bio

β€œAnd by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” - Sylvia Plath My name is Jenn and I have loved writing since I was a child. One of my earliest works (I was around ten years of age) was about haunted Native American lands and the ghosts that haunted anyone who stepped foot on it. I love to write horror, mystery and fantasy. However, I do enjoy writing fan fiction as well. I have an AO3 account where I post Dracula, Kingsman, Marvel, Sherlock, Doctor Who and more. My dream is to one day hopefully be a published author. I have been wanting it since I was a kid. The one thing that stops me from trying (and sharing my work) is the fear. When I write I believe my work is pretty decent. And then after the writing I deem it all unworthy. I think most writers may feel that way, however. I enjoy coffee and tea, I will not pick between the two. I will gladly have whatever is at hand. Cats are amazing and I just want to hug every single cat out there. I have a slight problem with wanting to buy every single nice black ink pen I find and notebooks, so, when the school year comes around and the stores fill up with new supplies I panic. I enjoy reading. My favorite genres are mystery, horror, fantasy and non-fiction. I do like some romance. My favorite authors are: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, John Steinbeck, John Le Carre, Agatha Christie, Paul Doherty, and Graham Greene. Favorite books: The Girl with all the Gifts (M.R Carey), Night (Elie Wiesel), Into the Wild (Jon Krakauer), Tuesdays with Morrie (Mitch Albom), A Lesson Before Dying (Ernest J. Gaines), The Price of Salt (Claire Morgan), The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (Jean Dominique Bauby), Operation Mincemeat (Ben Macintyre). Mark Gatiss is a writer I look up to and I admire him very much.
