When I was a child I swore I was going to "be a writer". I ended up becoming a teacher instead, and running a martial arts studio. But thanks to my teenage daughter (who also loves to write) and these prompts, I have recently rekindled my love of writing! The things that bring me joy right now are spending time with my husband and daughter, snuggling with my dog, rolling around on sweaty BJJ mats, and coffee. Definitely coffee. I currently live in Brooklyn, NY and don't plan on ever living anywhere else.
