“Being with you” by Jeffrey Kaplan

A short story about the love between a dog and his Master. The sun shines on your face as I wake up from my everlasting dream. To see you from afar and feel thy warmth on my cheek as you say hello in that beautiful glow that you share with me. I look upon the heavens and I wonder will I be able to move those mountains to be with you. Will I be able to have the strength to overcome thy boundaries of our love. When shall I feel your warmth. When is the time to come when you will hold your arms around me again together...

I am just beginning in the writing process as a beginner. I like to write fiction stories, poems, short stories and whatever comes to my mind. I was in the United States Air Force for 21 years and retired as a Technical Sargent. I am also a disabled veteran for I lost some of my memories due to a concussion.
