I frustratingly brushed off with the back of my hand the blood that had dried on my white tank top as I walked down the street. The air was filled with clapping and cheering, the children's excitement echoed in the hall of the orphanage. Annually, a group of kind-hearted locals would pay a visit to the orphans to at least still make them feel loved and valued.
