“Perhaps I'm dead” by Jay Falco

I'm not quite sure how I got here. It was dark and cold. I tried to move but found myself stuck in place. I couldn't hear a thing, it was as though the world was frozen around me. I tried to open my mouth, to say something, to scream for help, but my jaw stayed in place.
