Captain Silas Mart felt his bare feet press firmly on the ground. He knew the sensation well. Reinforced steel that fit together like a nice hardwood floor. He took a deep breath of the stale air that felt like metal shavings in his lungs. Crisp, sharp, and painfully dry.
