A blank whiteness flashed before his eyes, and he remembered nothing. He saw nothing but white and felt nothing but pain. Laying on his back, the cold hard floor chilled him through his loose clothing. Ringing filled his ears, high pitched and whining it slowly softened as the hazy world around him came into focus.
