Kings and Queens As Andrew swung his suitcase over the gap and stepped down onto the platform with Millie at his side he realised that, not for the first time that weekend, they had made a mistake. The moon and stars were obscured by a veil of grey clouds, leaving the only light sources a flicking electronic timetable suspended above the platform and the weak glow of an aging floodlight on the opposite side of the station.
