I sit in my seat, waiting for the bell to ring. I watch the clock on the wall directly across from me. The colon in the middle blinks on and off every half second. The time changes so slowly, but it’s mesmerizing to watch. 3 minutes. 2 minutes. 30 seconds. The long bell rings.
