I bit Mateo’s neck lightly and could feel his pulse with my tongue. My nose wandered up to graze the outside of his ear. “I’m looking for independent thoughts here.” Ms. Imhoff paused, her dark gaze flitting  from student to student. Although I had holed myself up in the far left corner of the room, her eyes landed on me.  “JenĂ©e. Hanna Levine, new to the Reedsy community, is a writer from Orange County, California and a graduate of Knox College. She earned her degree in Creative Writing and Theatre and most enjoys writing short stories, plays and poetry. Hanna loves to explore new places, from just around the block to countries across the Atlantic. The point being, of course, to learn new things and continue meeting more of the human race. (Ice skating is what she looks forward to most after COVID.)
