Black. It was so black the girl wasn’t sure she had opened her eyes at all. The uncertainty triggered her panic, giving her a sinking feeling in her stomach. Nothing made sense. The girl began to tremble, every horrible scenario playing in her head. She was on a bed of some sort, with a needle injected into her hand.
