Katie could not believe that her friend had set her up on a date, a blind date for that matter. Katie thinks it is because she is nearing thirty and the only one in their friendship group who wasn't either married, engaged nor a parent the brunette with long curly hair and hazel eyes thought.  Surly Katie had her own bridal business and her own place she called home but she was missing that special someone. I have always had a passion for writing whether stories or poems. It has always been more of a hobby or a therapeutic outlet for me. Now that I am 31 and after working in Child Care for about 1/3 of my life I felt it was time for me to change my hobbies into my work force for my soul and to share my experiences, stories and work with others. For encouragement and to reflect and learn. I write more poetry and would like to write more short stories and meet other like minded people who also share a passion.
