A former New York City chorus boy, George W. Young switched to the other side of the camera in 1984. Credits include national and international TV commercials for Fortune 500 companies with directors Bob Giraldi, Joe Pytka, and Steve Steigman. George moved to California in 1988 and spent the next 30 years working on a variety of projects including feature films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Junior, Serendipity, and The Internship. He also produced three video games for George Lucas based on the Star Wars canon: Rebel Assault, Jedi Knight, and Force Commander. George worked with Larry Page at Google on several projects, including the launches of Google Chrome and Google+. He collaborated with Steve Jobs at Apple on many of the company’s advertising campaigns, and on the introduction of QuickTime as the standard for computer-based digital video. In 2017 he turned his attention to writing novels, DracuLAND, a story of a New York City real estate mogul who purchases Dracula’s Castle, The Google Earth Murders, a serial killer reboot, and his non-fiction memoir, Try Not to Annoy the Kangaroo, which is represented by Bill Gladstone. His time travel / baseball novel, TIME Blinked, was released in 2021 by Celestial Echo Press. He has short stories published in five anthologies.
