It takes an alarming amount of energy just to enter the place. I had a calculated method of self-preparation, specially crafted for the occasion. It wasn’t exactly foolproof (or necessarily helpful at all), but it was a placebo of sorts. A Confidence placebo, if you will. This will make me stronger, I lied to myself.1. Avoid eye contact.2.
