It starts with a deafening noise, one beyond the scope of possibilities. Before too long, a brilliance of which none can fathom its origins will follow. The sound is birthed as a crackle: First a soft pop, then it waves as dissonant cadences. It evolves from a slow rumble at an increasing velocity. It grows into a devastating quake of earsplitting madness. The erupting blast detonates like thunder coupled with a seism, and it is heard across the nation. The noise becomes a blink in time, shared by each whose eyes cannot be drawn but skyward...

The train was late. Again. Great. Dolores sat, facing away from the platform. It hadn’t moved, though it was promised to depart at five. And it was now 5:30. Well, 5:28, to be exact. Twenty-eight minutes late. Bag in hand – or rather bags, plural – Dolores failed at resting comfortable on the five o’clock train heading west through Roxbough, up across the riverbank. Author bio

I'm a psychologist by day and a writer by night, fascinated with the way humans create stories to elaborate their understanding of life, others and themselves. I love creative projects (painting, music, etc.), and I suppose writing was the next step, as I've always written, one way or another. Whether it be fantasy, poems or autobiographical texts (also called secret diaries in my case), I adore writing as a creative art that unleashes the human unconscious - our own or our collective one as a group. (Couldn't guess I was a psychologist, right?) I marvel at others' work (so yes, I like to read of course!) I think any story tells a tale that, someone, somewhere, has need of, to get through life. To me, writing really is the essence of the human mind.
