I started looking for odd diving jobs as an excuse to get out of the city in the summer. It gets muggy. There’s no air conditioning. And all anybody wants to do is to sit at Chuck’s and drink. I’m a fish out of water, I guess. It’s not that I prefer the depths of the Puget Sound to people, but there are times when I need a break. And summer in Seattle is one of them.
