“Julie, dinner will be ready in 5 minutes!” The smell of her father’s creamy pasta sauce tugs at the peach fuzz inside her nose. Her favorite meal. She wonders if he purposefully planned this meal to coax her into the house. It is always a fight to get him to let her stay in her own home, where she has everything she needs.
