I’m a storyteller at heart. Most of my novels have been written in my native Maltese, but I’ve also written fiction in English. I am Julia, my first novel for Reedsy, marks a new chapter in sharing my work with a wider audience. With a background in Archaeology, Anthropology, and Film Studies, I’m drawn to the richness of human stories, past and present. This passion has shaped my writing, from articles in both Maltese and English to four non-fiction books in English. I’m also fascinated by the power of documentaries—another way of exploring truth through narrative.
