I'm a 22 year old living in Montréal, and have been writing since I was very young. I mainly write poetry and am working publishing a small collection of works, so I'm looking forward to that! :)
I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere in western Québec, and so living in isolation, seemingly, from the rest of the world, reading and writing became somewhat of a safe-haven for me. Sneaking a book or note-book into the barn to read or write between chores, was a part of my childhood I'll never forget.
As for my writing experience, my poetry tends to gravitate towards spoken-word, but I've been dabbling in other, more "readable" styles and in the process have been exploring the creative writing of short stories.
I'm not used to writing short stories and am trying to expand my creative skills, so I thought joining this community would be a great way to do that!
