I hate the darkness. Always reminding me of my childhood basement. The silence lets my mind wander. Often getting lost. No matter, here I sit. Locked in the library. Confined by darkness. The house at the end of the road has always drawn speculation. It stood quite a way back from the road. Always overgrown with unruly trees and a jungle of weeds and grass.
