Aiysha could feel her heart rate quickening as she climbed higher into the atmosphere, her pulse echoing in her ears like a distant drumbeat. The sensation of weightlessness began to envelop her as the altitude increased, a subtle but undeniable reminder of the immense power of the world around her. Born in Monterrey, Mexico. Diego realized he liked writing when he attended a creative writer’s retreat that took place in the mountains near his hometown. Since then, he’s masqueraded in numerous roles and titles throughout his life: Programmer, Game Designer, Dad, Employee, Consultant, Teacher, Lemon Merchant, Wordsmith, Bank Teller, and Delivery Driver. Yet, in his imagination, he fancies himself a writer.
