Hi, I’m Diane. Previously a Clinical Researcher, and Stem Cell Technician in San Diego, I left California to become a full-time Graduate Student in Surrey. After earning my master’s thesis in Microbiology, I spent roughly a year in a Quality Control team in Central London and found that my real passion is in writing and engaging topics on the conservation of important ecosystems and species. I spend most of my time with my veterinarian husband writing at home, cooking experimental cuisine, exploring the English countryside, or travelling to beautiful places. I’ve become a recent wine scholar Level II through WSET, deepening my knowledge of how plants interface with commerce, the environment, culture, and gastronomy. I bring my knowledge in the wide array of sciences I have experienced to explore worlds that could be in the speculative science fiction realm.
