The following story includes testimonies of real life experiences dealing with but not limited to; drug addiction, alcoholism , and forgiveness . Contrary to the unfortunate circumstances, gratitude lacks no bearing whatsoever!Sincere Gratitude I should have done this sooner, I must admit. Sometimes I get so caught up in my ways I often forget. I become overwhelmed by all the things I feel like I have to do. God blessed me with the love for reading at a very young age. It's hard not to mourn for my past addictions and hobbies; they were so refreshing for my soul... However, my passion for writing poetry won my heart over at only 8 years old...I'm now currently 29 years old. I broke my own heart, when i foolishly cheated my first love.. My first love was with words. Not long after i fell in love, it was revealed that my words were " truths" sent from God himself.... God has, and is, patiently waiting for me to allow Him... and ask Him, "to heal my heart and restore His purpose for me". while realigning me with my hearts desire... I desire nothing more than to speak a truth that the world so easily dismisses, and set free a generation that only God's word can deliver... All the while, uncovering His strength to free myself
