The place I remember as the home wasn’t really much of a home. I slept mostly outside from the day I got there as a young pup. There was a little wooden building the family called the dog’s outhouse and it's where I spent most of my time, chained to the wooden stake in the dusty backyard with piles of trash and boxes strewn around.
