David Marshall is a military veteran, a management doctor with a concentration in Executive Leadership, and a passionate writer. He served in the US Navy for 21 years, held various leadership positions, and received several awards and honors. He retired from the military in 2006 and pursued his lifelong dream of earning a doctorate. He graduated from Colorado Technical University in 2021 with a PhD in management and executive leadership. His dissertation focused on the impact of women in the executive suite and how leaders can promote more female leadership to the highest levels. He is also a consultant and trainer for various organizations and institutions, helping them improve their online learning strategies and outcomes. In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, David is an avid blogger and writer. He started his blog in 2021, sharing his insights and tips on technical writing and training. He has published over 15 blog posts on topics such as writing clear and concise instructions, designing effective learning paths, and using storytelling techniques in technical communication.
