Being a writer is more of a relationship than a profession, I feel. Having the open mind to consider impossibilities or normalcies and explain such in a way as to give meaning is a talent, yes, with practice necessary, but developing a relationship with the world around me is the main process of inspiration. I’ve been writing since I was a little girl - testing out new possibilities and worlds through ink and paper. I’ve gone through phases of trying too hard or ignoring practices, loving dearly some rare pieces and getting discouraged by the wall that I hit too often. I tend to write stories that are evocative, descriptive, sometimes heart wrenching. It is lovely for me to introduce myself to a community such as this!
