I wake from a drunken stupor. The past hours of my life are lost. For a moment, I don’t know where I am, and then my surroundings comfort me. I’m home. I stand, slowly, and shuffle towards my living room window. A place I usually find myself after a night doused in liquor.  The world is silent. It’s a time for reflection.
