Author bio

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I’ve been a working actor in Toronto since 2010, continuously expanding my horizons as an artist. Over the past several years, I’ve been especially dedicated to my writing, and since September 2021, I’ve been deep in the process of crafting my first novel. In addition to acting, I’ve written, produced, and starred in several short films based on my original screenplays. Now, I’m thrilled to start sharing my short stories and submitting to competitions, embracing the unpredictable yet exciting path of storytelling. My writing is often deeply emotional—sometimes metaphorical—and I love delving into the complexities of human relationships. Genre-wise, I’m open to many directions (I do seem to lean towards gothic horror), always chasing the heart of a great story. Beyond writing and acting, I run my own pet-sitting business (animal lover extraordinaire!), thrive in the outdoors, and never say no to good food, solo travel, or a full-bodied belly laugh.
