A breeze brushed against my skin, carrying the scent of iron and smoke. My breath was heavy, my chest rising and falling as I stood amidst the chaos.Splashes of blood stained my face, warm and sticky, remnants of the battle that had just ended.Bodies lay scattered across the field, the echoes of clashing steel and dying cries still ringing in my ears.
