I am Cora. The CEO of Faeryland’s Farm, a small yet vibrant nonprofit animal sanctuary and National Wildlife Habitat dedicated to rescuing animals and transforming lives through education and goat therapy. Our sanctuary is home to about 40 animals—from the spirited goats and loyal dogs to the uniquely rare Australian Long-billed Corella, Stevie.
With over 12 years of devoted experience working with farm animals and nearly 30 years with domesticated animals like dogs and cats, I try to bring expertise and empathy to the Farm. My professional journey is complemented by my career as an online college professor specializing in Psychology and History.
In addition to my work at the sanctuary, I like to channel my creativity (I am an Aries and goat after all) and love for storytelling into writing. I craft magical adventures about the animals on the farm, weaving narratives that are not only enchanting but also based on true events—with a touch of humor. These stories offer a whimsical perspective on the daily lives and interactions of the farm's inhabitants, drawing readers into the heartwarming and often funny world of Faeryland’s Farm.
