Fires burnt and the silencing of voices rang out in the midst of a cool night and the little village, sitting at the precipice of a cliffside near the sea, cried out in agony. Monsters had come out of the night’s shadows. Horribly twisted axes lodged themselves in the bodies of villagers, the growls of vicious maws and gnashing of teeth instilling a fear unlike any other.
