Author bio
Colleen DuVall earned both her master’s in digital communication and her bachelor’s in journalism at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Colleen’s internship for the O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism allowed her the valuable opportunity to work alongside award-winning Frontline Reporter, Katie Worth. Colleen’s published and produced work include Municipality Magazine, Bella Grace Magazine, Taste of Home Magazine, Wisconsin Public Radio, Milwaukee Magazine, Watcher Junior (The Undergraduate Journal of Buffy+), Unity College of Maine, Backlog Magazine, and BBI Media. Her first novel, A Witch’s Kiss, a supernatural romance, was published as an e-book for Whispers Publishing. She also published and illustrated a children’s book with an anti-bullying theme, about a little ghost named, “Sidney.” Most recently, the musical she co-wrote, “Shining in Misery: A King-Size Parody,” debuted in the World Premiere Wisconsin theatre festival and enjoyed a concert performance at 54 Below in NYC.
