I don’t remember falling asleep or even getting into bed but I do remember waking up. The room was dark and not a normal dark, it was almost pitch black with just enough moonlight streaming through the curtains to cast shadows. At first, I couldn’t recall where I was, I tried to sit up but couldn’t. My body felt heavy, the only thing I could move was my eyes.
