Author bio

It used to be that my writing was done in my head, with my ideas floating around until I finished an idea and closure chased it away never to be seen again, certainly never to be perfected. It is only in recent years that I have tried to put words to paper, or rather fingers to keyboard.

I love writing. I love reading what I write and revising it, and revising it, and revising it. Sometimes I fear that I revise the spirit right out of it, unable to tell when I should have called it done.

These prompts are the first time I’ve tried sharing my stories. These are fun, because a story is usually written in a few hours, and edited only loosely, leaving the emotion and spirit intact I hope. I love reading other peoples takes on the same topic.

I’m happy to receive feedback so that I can improve.
