Author bio

Hi, I’m an English teacher and late-to-the-party writer. I loved writing as a kid, but dropped the ball in my teens. After the death of one of my students in 2020, I decide to carpe-the-diem by starting a YA novel, which I finished 2 years ago, but unfortunately, since COVID, I’ve found life as a teacher way too chaotic, and I still haven’t decided what to do with it. Anyway, I also recognize that I need to get back into a daily habit of creative writing, so I joined Reedsy to be more intentional about practicing this crazy-difficult craft and get connected with a community of writers.
