I’ve always enjoyed the company of plants. Plants are immutable from outside forces. Living beings without the ability to hear and therefore be changed by words around them. I feel comfortable in my garden. Since I was young, my plants have provided me with a sense of community I no longer feel with those around me. Plants can’t mock and, conversely, can never be mocked.
