“What are you working on?” “It’s a new potion idea I’ve come up with,” Janra said resting her hands on her hips as she frowned. She stared down at the cauldron, her nose wiggling a bit from the smoke rising up from the black pot. Did she miscalculate the ingredients? She was certain she’d checked beforehand to make sure she had everything. Author bio

I had my first taste of writing when I was in high school thanks to a known book called "The Hobbit." Since then I've written several fan fiction styled stories under a different alias. This is my first time ever submitting to a writing contest. I hope I can learn and grow more from this site. My favorite genre has always been Fantasy as it's so easy to get lost in fantastical world that sometimes becomes believable through writing.
