I saw her again three days ago. I walked past the Church this time and I saw her coming out with all the others. Cathy Gale took up creative writing during the Covid lockdowns, when she retired early from librarianship, a career which provided the perfect opportunity to read promiscuously and know it was useful for work. She is working on her first novel “Ill conceived.” Cathy lives in Ipswich, has been married to Colin for thirty five years and has one grown up son.
