It’s getting bad again, but I don’t know how long I’ve been feeling this way.  It was outside my local liquor store, where I was standing under the flickering neon sign, color of faded cyan, staring at the rainwater pooling at my feet while I waited for my ride because I’d forgotten an umbrella, and true to my luck, the storm had come out of nowhere.
