“Roe, Roe, you have to get me home.” Tears streaked my face, which was covered with sap and grime. Somehow I had lost my shoes and one of my toenails had ripped off as I ran. I am a new writer who has always loved stories and storytelling but just started to tell my own. I recently experienced 6 long years battling an illness that left me stuck in bed, so I decided to try creating my own worlds to help with that journey. I hope to someday publish my stories and am working on my first: a historical fiction novel. I am encouraged by and appreciate any feedback and hope to grow as much as I can!
