I try to ignore the dark spots, black holes...the voids that fill my mind. I think back and back and there is nothing. No memories. I close my eyes and everything is black. “Iris.” I don’t open my eyes at my name even though I am sure that I should. Instead, I sigh, and wait for the words that I know will follow.
