In the town of Hemsdale many refused to stay for long periods of time, rather the locals wouldn’t allow anyone to stay. It wasn’t that the town was ever too busy, nor was it that the population ever got too high. The population usually stayed around 15 000. Stores on the main street were mainly locally owned by residents. The sole residents had been there for nearly 20 or more years.
