“One hundred years ago, this world was ravaged by the disease of pollution. The waters became sludge where no life could live. Contaminants in the soil made it impossible to grow food. Earthquakes broke gas lines and brought down roadways. In the shortages that followed, mankind unleashed the Great War, a desperate battle for sustenance.
